Thank you!

Yes, I leave it outside all year. Unfortunately it is monocarpic (dies after flowering), but hopefully it will have babies underneath it that will carry on next year. The babies will die back during winter, but grow quickly again in the spring. The plant in this picture is about 12" in diameter.

I was very pleased with it this year since in the spring this plant started out as only one rosette! I hope you're able to find one Calin.

It literally bloomed itself to death. Every single rosette bloomed. I left it go to seed and was looking foward to trying my hand at seeds, but then the deer ate the bloom stalks over the winter. Grumbling I had a couple of other small ones from other sources and they're doing well, but nowhere near as impressive as this one was.

I'm surprise at least some of the seeds didn't fall to the ground and reseed itself? That colony was truly impressive.

They may have fallen in the bed next to the planter, but I dug that bed up this spring and redid it. Probably buried any seeds.

It would have been great to have that seed, as it may have been a little different form of O. iwarenge.
