Marilyn: I've googled and can't find any information regarding what's considered historic for Tulips. Hopefully someone who grows those beauties will be able to help. Oh how I wish the beautiful Tulips (Tulipa) grew this far south!

I don't know. I am thinking maybe the ones listed at Old House Gardens would all be historic tulips?

*Blush* Maybe I had trouble finding information because I was searching for Historic instead of Heirloom. Here's some info on "What is an Heirloom" ... kinda like antiques and hey, I'm from pre 1950 so I guess I'm an heriloom ... well, I'd much rather be called an heirloom than an antique!
