I hope it turns out nice, I am sure the strong Munson background will make pretty daylilies. That is also one of my favorites !

It is a job, keeping up with the lawn work and weeding.
I am sure, any Munson daylily will make pretty! babies.
I have to wait until summer, when Malaysian Monarch blooms.
I have a older cultivar of a Munson daylily a friend sent me byzatine Emperor.
This daylily is special, since it was first daylily ever.
From then,I got hooked on daylilies and added on to purchasing different varieties of
daylilies.
I just wish spring would arrive soon,I miss the daylilies blooming.

Highland Lord did well here in zone 4, too. So did Betty Warren Woods until I sold it out of the garden a few years ago. Water Dragon, Court Magician and King's Cotillion were not happy here and were sent to a friend a zone warmer. The only one I continue to grow is Chinese Scribe, does very well and is always surrounded by visitors asking about the beautiful applique eye.

I thought I would bump this thread back up for conversation. It seems like Mr Munson still has many desired cultivars, even after his passing.

Lexington Avenue is a favorite of mine. My color is not quite this shade tho.

What are your favorites? I had a nice light yellow that I sold a clump of and now I cannot remember the name. Angry
