This thread is to see if there is enough interest to do an Atlas Glove co-op. We must order 12 dozen (144) pairs to get the 2.07 a pair price on the Atlas Nitrile 370 Garden glove in any size and color and also Atlas Therma Fit 451 in any size for 2.18 a pair. I won't know the exact shipping from them to me until I know the exact amount of gloves and which ones we order since the Therma gloves are heavier than the Atlas Nitrile 370's.

Bubbles had mentioned we could each order direct at http://www.seamar.com/Glove_Ca... if we belonged to a Gardenen Club or was a Master Gardener and I believe it is cheaper for anyone to go that route but when I called I spoke to Ron and he said we must order 12 dozen and that these prices are the best they have. But please feel free to call and let me know what they say because that would be the cheapest way for each of us.

I need to know there is enough interest and orders to meet this amount of gloves. The order can be for any size , any color, as long as the order for the 370's is in multiples of 12 and the thermals are in multiples of 12.

There will be a $1.00 handling charge per order not pair to cover any supplies I may use. As far as shipping from them to me I won't know that until I have a figure on the amount of gloves and which ones we order. I was thinking about adding a nickle a glove but that maybe too much or too little. I am going to use this interest thread to judge how many we will order to get a quote from the company to me. Then there is shipping from me to you. I will definitely find the cheapest way to ship them to each one who orders.

Please if you know anything about cost to mail out or best way to mail envelope, box, priority etc please let me know.

Let the interest begin I tip my hat to you.

I guess I should repeat what I'd be interested in on this thread. Is this thread just an extension of the one that was started earlier. I said I'd be interested in a dozen of the thermals and a dozen of the gardening gloves on the other thread, but I don't to repeat an order here if this is an entirely different co-op. Edited to order in size large.

I'd like 6 pr of each, 1 dozen total: 6- #451 and 6 -#370 in size Small please. Please let me know the details on how a co op like this works. Do I send a check to you, Sandy?? Thanks for doing this.

The other thread was wondering if anyone was going to do one I believe. This thread is to make sure we have an order for atleast 12 dozen or there won't be a co-op. As soon as we get close as I know I want a dozen of them myself I will open a thread for the actual co-op. If we don't get enough orders then of course sad but there won't be a co-op. The cheapest I have found at a local wholesaler is atleast 60 cents more the #370's. I don't see where they carry the thermal ones.

As far as payment goes I would be happy to take Postal Money order, cashiers check, or Paypal. But remember with paypal there are fees attatched. You can send it as a gift through paypal but not sure how that works. I am not sure at this time I want to take checks but would be very happy to take the other forms I just listed.

This is just an interest thread at this time. Until we get very close to the 144 I won't be opening the actual order thread.

I would buy at least 12 of the extra-large 370's, any color.

If you had an odd number of those left over, I would take as many as 6 more.

Alternatively, if you had an odd number of the extra-large thermal 451's left over, I would take as many as 6 more of those.

Thanks for doing this: what a GREAT price!

Here is where you need to go to see determine size you will need http://www.palmflex.com/Atlas-... or http://www.palmflex.com/glove-... . The second one worked great for me to determine on my first order years ago I needed small.

please keep in mind this is only an interest thread . It is looking like this will be a go on this co-op. Please bare with me as I did a co-op years ago no spreadsheet . I want to make sure I am well versed on a spreadsheet unless someone will volunteer to do that for us.

You all are welcome. Oh and also we can mix and match colors even if only 1 pair of gloves is orange out of the 144. No 12 doz quota on any color Smiling

I'm going away for 2 weeks starting November 27th. If we can wait until then, I'll either create a spreadsheet or help you to do one Sandy. We could collaborate by phone, text or e mail if you're interested in getting started to learn. It's easy when someone walks you thru it every step of the way, which is how I was taught by a tutorial video.

Roses_R_Red I would be very happy to wait until you return so you could maybe do it with my help. If we start around then we could let everyone have a little time to get together money especially with Christmas coming. Everyone including me can have time to get Christmas out of the way. We will still have time before spring to really get ahead start on having our gloves ready. I did check with the local wholesaler and they are 2.80 a pair even with the shipping to me I am sure we will make out a whole lot better. Also on the colors we each want.
