Here's a shot of the flowers I have blooming at work. Clown is the really tall one. Not sure what the dark red one is. The orchid is my first one ever, so I hope I can get it to rebloom. The 2 flowers on Clown have been open for over a week now. The patients and staff at the hospital seem to enjoy having something live and blooming to look at.

Whaaa......... do ya'll hear me crying? I want more Amaryllis. Mine are all done flowering and I want more now. Those picks above are fabulous. Hmm, wonder where I can get a decent Amaryllis bulb now. I rescued one from walmart. Bad idea, it is so sad.

Yes J T it is very dark red & yes velvety is a word for me anyway!! It is a beautiful bloom just not La Paz but they credited me for it. I got it from JS. Btw I had an Exotic star that I selfed that bloomed for me the second year, will post when it blooms this year. It is different. Lorine
