Well, decided to take a few hours off work this afternoon to do some yard work but I need to slip into a t-shirt and shorts and put on some sunscreen before I get out there. Big Grin

I am so glad someone talked about spider mites. I have had a few but seem to catch them as soon as I see them. All infected leaves go to a bag and get taken out to the trash immediately and my hands go right to the sink. I feel like I might give another plant some hitch hikers if I don't.
I came home to my newest two brugs, Another Dola, and a new one called Flame. I took Elizabeth and Culebra outside for some fresh air and sunshine after work.. it got up to 65 here... I knocked off one of Elizabeths little buds darn it, but the big one is really coming down. I had a little stump of Desiree that I had left over so I put the whole thing in some potting medium, and now I have leaves peeking up. Seray, your sticks you sent me are really rooted out and ready for their home in the ground, I really appreciate that surprise back last fall. I know they are NOIDs, but I love them anyway.. one hundred percent rooted. Hubby says no more freeze here, I looked at month calendar for weather, only one night down to 37m rest of lows are in high 40s. Can I put the brugs out yet or no??? how about Ginger, anyone know?

I've heard it mentioned several times, but have no idea what color it is. Does anyone have a photo of the blooms? I've heard and seen photos of Olympic Flame. Are they one and the same?

Winter has come and gone. I'm so glad it is gone. It was a rough one this last year. I did lose some plants in pots. I'm waiting and hoping to see them come back from the root, but nothing yet.
Good news is, the ones in the ground are send up shoots.. Painted Lady, Misty Pink, Adora, Monster, Native Habitat Peach, Adora. I also have some I had in the house as cuttings. So have them planted and waiting to watch them grow.
they had water roots so must adjust and grow new roots for soil. Just hoping they all make it and start growing....

Doesn't look like we will have a winter in southern California. One day a true rain and already we have had 2 days in the 90's.

I pruned my big pink NOID severely before heading out of town for 2 weeks to visit my new grandbaby. Just today I noticed that one of the cuttings that I left on the ground under the plant and dumped mulch on top has rooted and is already growing big fat new leaves! So awesome!

However, they are nematode magnets here, so I may have to dig it up and pot it for it to actually succeed.
