I saw a picture online somewhere that had their leaf on top of a large tree round for the base.

That would look really nice.

Here is another of the leaves that Ric and I made last fall. Just got around to painting this one. It is a ground bird bath with a print of a castor bean leaf in it. Approx 22 X 19 and the water depth will be 2 - 3 inches. I'm donating this one to a local Garden Club fundraiser. Hope it sells at the silent auction.

That is just lovely. Another one that will get many bids, I'm sure. The birds here love the ground water baths too. I have a huge plant tray I keep water in and it's not unusual to have 2 or 3 birds in it at time. I love watching them.

LOL, I learned a very very long time ago that crafting is fun. But producing on order isn't always. I use to sell Macrame at craft shows, fairs and home sales. I also taught classes and sold supplies from my home. I first started selling because I was having such a great time making the hangers and I needed something to do with what I made and a bit of income to pay for materials. The first couple of very large lighted hanging tables were great fun. The order for 5 of them to be delivered in 2 weeks not so much.

I thought I would give you an update on the leaves, after leaving them outside all winter long they look just like they did last summer. So far the paint has held up no signs of chipping or cracking. I haven't gotten around to cleaning them so they have some algae on them that I need to clean off. I am very pleased with this project.
