At the Publix in Jonesville today, the bag boy said there were flurries between 5 and 10am. I was up at 6 this morning but didn't poke my nose out the door, even when Dixie had to go. So I didn't see nothin'. But that's okay, I grew up in Mich. and saw enough snow to last a lifetime.
And yall know, we do not have a "frostline" in our ground, so it ain't gonna stay. Melts as soon as it hits.
The next few days are gonna be way cold for us. Even though the sun is shining out there now, the solar gain thing isn't working. Was in the 30's this morning and the high is 43. Not a big warming spread. 64 in here and just turned the heat on.
Maybe in a bit I can take my fleece jacket off.
The emergency heat attachment for my heat pump didn't come in with the unit, so with low low temps, the heat pump will frost up, go into defrost then heat again. Defeats the purpose of the 14 Seer unit. The heat tape was supposed to come in yesterday in a separate shipment, but did not arrive. Hoping for Monday. Winter isn't over yet, by any means.
