Is it ever going to warm up? At 7:15 this morning our thermostat showed 37ยบ outside! We were under wind chill advisories until 10:15 this morning and it's still very windy and cold outside!
A couple of days ago I couldn't stand it any longer and chopped back the Tree Philodendrons. I don't think we will have another severe freeze, at least I hope not. Some areas of west central Fl are under a freeze warning for tonight, but hopefully the cold temp's won't last more than an hour or two. The Tree Philo's were here when we bought the house in 1975 and have survived all these years so maybe they will be okay, if not I guess I will be looking for something else to plant in that large area.
I don't currently have anything blooming to share pictures of. This is a Crape Myrtle from last August ... I look forward to seeing them budding out again!
