I've just been looking up Ursula's new babies and here are my notes:
Mps. Saffron Surprise (Mps. Snohomish x Mps. Lixos) Here is what was said about a recent award winning plant that will give Ursula something to shoot for: Forty-five flowers and eight buds on eight mature and two immature inflorescences; plant 30cm in diameter, flowers evenly distributed around 8-cm pot; flowers creamy yellow, golden yellow centrally, striated rust centrally; substance good; texture matte
Coelogyne [Coel.] xyrekes is an old species dating to 1915. Several awards including AOS HCC
Anguloa [Ang.] virginalis has a really cool looking flower. Awards include AOS AM/HCC. The original species was registered in 1862.
Arach. Maggie Oei (Arach. hookeriana x Arach. flos-aeris) was registered in 1950. The petals and sepals are red and yellow striped like a peppermint stick. Different!
C. lueddemanniana X C. Inferno is not registered but I'll bet it's a winner. Good genes.
Gongora [Gga.] scaphephorus this species was registered in 1854. I love the flower. Good one. Multiple awards. One winner had 341 flowers on 5 spikes.
Vanda [V.] lamellate Great flower! Multiple award winner.
Blc Drumbeat 'Heritage' HCC/AOS - I found this listed as C., Lc., and Sc. all with the same picture. The Blc. is probably an error. Most references call it an Lc. Pretty pink and red with lots of floof.
V. Moonlight Firefly (V. falcata x V. Twinkle (1960)). The Ascofinetias are just Vandas now. It should be very fragrant.
You looked up your Neosedirea [Nsd.] Summer Stars just in time for me to tell you that it is now called Vdnps. Summer Stars (V. falcata x Sed. japonica). Now you'll have to look up Vdnps as I did.
I couldn't find any awards or other info on it.
Bc. Carnival Kids is not in OrchidWiz and it is hard to find info on it. I'm guessing it is not registered. I did find that it's a cross between B. nodosa and C. dormaniana and I found a pic of the flower, all green with a pink lip. Very nice.
Neofinetia [Neof.] falcate was easy to find but the Kyokku part wasn't. It must be a new variety. Neof. falcate has tons of awards.
I got a hit on your Neo falcata X Aerides odorata. Aerides [Aer.] Pussadi (Aer. falcata x Aer. odorata). Another looker. You did good!
