Fruit in Winter

Fruit is one thing that's hard to come by in winter, at least if you don't have space for large trees that allow you to put away long-storing fruits such as apples and pears.

I still have Asian pears that I just kept in a cool upstairs bedroom... This is my first year storing them and never expected them to last this long have about ten left... ;o)
I love the dehydrated pears best also...
