Our robins would need an ice drill to find a worm. Hilarious!
The birds here have been feeding all morning, of course it was only 12*F when I got up this AM. They are probably in great need of extra energy to stay warm.

Boy Tee, those ARE some FAT robins!
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown

Tee: Love those chubby Robins! I haven't seen any Robins this year, we used to get large flocks at our other house and I loved watching them dig up worms and bathe in puddles after a rain. I miss them but hopefully next year we'll get a few as they migrate. I got a few photo's this afternoon and I'm heading back outside in a few minutes so will see if any more birds are available for photo's, LOL.

And there was a beautiful Bald Eagle flying over this afternoon but it was so fast my photo's are a bit blurry:

Thanks, Lin. I know the robins are harbingers of spring and we certainly need that encouragement this year.

Great birds, Lin! Today I put out birdseed and such, then looked back and it was eerie...not a single bird was there eating! After a while, I saw a large bird flying above. Not good at ID's from that distance, but probably a predator!

Linda: I bet there was indeed a predator nearby which kept the songbirds in hiding!
