Dirt ....

What wonderful photos ! Yeah, you are going to have to give us the names of your beauties. I am thinking I can plant some of them in my rock borders.

Or in the rock garden I have to create because Frank-the-con dumped a lot of large rocks down in one of my street beds.

Yup ... I've got lots and lots of rocks ... plant names, please ????

Smiles,
Lyn

PS ... I've got some bulbs coming up, too. I'll get photos, if it ever stops raining ! Smiling
I'd rather weed than dust ... the weeds stay gone longer.

Thank You! All, and Tee and Margaret,

That is a plant that I purchased as Aubrieta canescens ssp canescens...
I find it to be different from the various Aubrieta deltoidea that I have growing in other locations (the dark purple above with the tulip, for example), but the database lists them all as synonyms. Shrug!
I have a lot of pics of this one Rolling my eyes. most of them blurry, but here are a few more

Not anything to crow about, but this is my first bloom from seed. I had forgotten about them until very very late in the fall, and I wasn't sure how they would react planted so late. I still have some in a pot, too.

I'm really, really excited this morning!! One of my 2014 seed started alpines, living now in the rock garden, is making bloom buds! It's tempered by the fact that I evidently switched tags on it, so I don't know what it is at the moment, but it's exciting nonetheless! This will be a first for me!

Here's its picture now. I have it marked as a draba, but Shrug! ...maybe it is and will look much different later? I dunno.

Thanks! We may get cold enough to frost this week, but I doubt it'll hurt it. I'd think if it's engineered to bloom this early, it should be very tolerant. I'll hope so anyway!

You don't have to worry about frosts at all. And probably not even down to 20°F.
