I think I might have lost my variegated BB.. maybe.. was one green stem when I was snapping off the dead ones .. Santana I think was the name.. was never a real strong one anyway.. I wasn't surprised to see it was so beat up.. Teri I always have seedlings I dig up every year.. sure this year will be no different .. if you need some replacements let me know.. might still have one or two in containers from last year.. if they made it
Came home yesterday to find a long box on my porch....it was a white weeping cherry from my friend in MA in memory of my brother....Garret will have to plant it for me when he gets back from RI, & I'll take a photo of it.....

Wonderful memorial to your brother! So heartwarming!

I grew up with this woman & her husband .....when my DH passed, they sent a flowering crab, but I had my son plant it at his house.......then 2&1/2 years ago, I lost my flowering crab in the ice storm......this tree I'm keeping!
After spending most of the day from 7am til 2pm working out in the yard a rewarding trip to the garden center was in order. I bought a Coral Reef Bee Balm plant along with some Italian elongated Eggplants, Thai hot peppers (one of my favorites), and some more Marigolds.
As a matter of fact, I'm due at one RU on May 31st in Virginia. I think that I might have opted for the one in MA if I'd known about it first. Maybe next year.
I took $5 worth of raffle tickets at last night's banquet & I won this rhodo! Of course, I spent mucho bucks at my friend's farm, Edgewater, in NH....bought some hard to find salvias & a monster fuchsia, Moonglow......
Allison looks like all your spare time is gonna be spent working outside getting everything planted.
I second the Moonglow bloom pics!
I spent the entire day outside since 8am. Had to work off the hangover from yesterday's Halloween make and take. Got a ton planted..Managed to sift another 4 X 4 compost pile and make buckets full of sifted compost, coir, perlite and peat to transplant with. Got all the Make and Take stuff put away as well. Let the watering begin. I still have behind the garden to plant with all the Coleus I rooted over the winter. I guess I really liked the Lion Fish and Kiwi Coleus because I have tons of it.
Hollowed out another tree stump so I can plant Nasturtiums in. Pruned some roses which are still growing in 5 gallon buckets but alive and well. Still undecided as to where I'm going to plant them.
I'm covered in bug bites, dirt and sweat so time for Shower and some much needed SLEEP.

Nice haul Allison and Marilyn I really like that moonglow fuchsia!
Ordered about 100+ caladiums from Bill, he has some offered in the classified. Getting an Alocasia "Odora" Elephant Ear Bulb too for the pond. We have a section next to the new chicken run under the grape vine that is all shade. I'm going to put all of them there right next to one another. It's fenced so the dogs can't get at it. Hoping it really pops
