Breck's has a lifetime guarantee so you can just ask for a replacement at any point in time as long as you keep your receipts.

You can usually get the same thing at a local nursery but the plant will be larger and cost less.

They did great on their fruit trees. Good size.
Not so great on their garden plants. Small

I have NEVER been happy with Breck's bulbs. Just looking at the photos should be a clue - they are all photoshopped. The bulbs don't live up to the descriptions either.

I've been happy with the mixed daffodil bags.

I'm with Daisyl. They've always been a major disappointment.

I have not ordered from Breck's I suppose that I remember, but the past two years I have ordered quite a few things from Brent and Becky's and love them. Now is the time to start getting in your tulip orders for this fall before the sell out of the ones you want.

pirl said: I placed an order for six of the exact same lilies but got 3 of the one I wanted (all virused) and 3 that were yellow/orange. I'll never order from them again.

I took this photo at our local Botanical Center Garden, in Springfield MO on June 22, 2014. I loved the look of this pretty lily but it was not marked with a name, as is the case with many of the plants here at the city garden unfortunately. Is this an actual variety of lily, or was the plant I photographed diseased in some way? When I seen your photo here, this pic I took immediately came to my mind. I have looked a few times trying to find the name of this variety with no luck.

It appears diseased to me. The virus can spread, so the best advice I can offer anyone who encounters it in their own garden is to remove it - not compost it!

The only things I've been able to keep alive from them is a few hydrangea. I think I'll stick to local nurseries.
