I planted two roses in this big pot, thinking orange & yellow: Radiant Perfume & Fragrant Cloud. It's pretty & striped but it is neither. Any idea? I thought it looked like a Candy Land but fortunately it's not climbing (yet!)

As always your gardening help is appreciated!

Sounds like that's it. Only characteristic that doesn't fit is the description of the buds as pointed. These are rounded, I believe. Right?

Julie: I don't know a lot about Roses so 'Scentimental' was just a guess on my part. Why not post over on the Roses Forum: http://garden.org/forums/view/... and see if one of the more knowledgeable growers can help.

Lin,

Your first instinct was correct! It's a Scentimental! Gal at the local nursery I bought it at confirmed it!

Thanks!

Julie, you are very welcome .. it was just a guess because I once had Scentimental and it reminded me of that pretty rose. Don't forget to add your lovely photo to the database if you haven't already. Rose (Rosa 'Scentimental')
