This looks like an Amaryllis more than a daylily.

You're right. I entered it in the wrong spot. It is amaryllis 'Green Dragon'.

that's what happens when I try to do approvals using a smart phone as I am out of town today, the image was small and I even thought at first it looked odd.
I have done that myself when there are duplicate names among different genus'.
