Good for xeriscaping. Low water requirements and produces huge flowers that are pollinated by flies.

It smells exactly like rotting meat! These are pollinated by the same flies that, well, you know. Hilarious! So the bad smell brings them in.

I think it's hilarious that this banner shows one of those blueish/green flies! I love it!

Thank you very much for the comments, thumbs and acorns. That is my Stapelia gigantea in bloom. I never notice much of an odor and I have a nose that's very sensitive to smells. Just in case, I don't keep it inside when it's in bloom. Smiling
