Good for xeriscaping. Low water requirements and produces huge flowers that are pollinated by flies.
I garden for the pollinators.

It smells exactly like rotting meat! These are pollinated by the same flies that, well, you know.
So the bad smell brings them in.
I think it's hilarious that this banner shows one of those blueish/green flies! I love it!

Thank you very much for the comments, thumbs and acorns. That is my Stapelia gigantea in bloom. I never notice much of an odor and I have a nose that's very sensitive to smells. Just in case, I don't keep it inside when it's in bloom.
