Chionodoxa Lucillae are more purple than I remember them being.

You're right Rita, Siberian Squills (Scilla siberica). I wonder if that Chionodoxa is Violet Beauty?

Thanks for setting me straight on the Squills. I bought that Chionodoxa as Lucillea but who knows if it was mislabeled? O always seem to get some bulbs are are not what they are supposed to be!

True, and Violet Beauty is a C. luciliae variety. It is lovely though.
