Thanks Leslie......I try not to post more than my share on Multi-plants. I got a tree-mail from another ATP member suggesting I was discouraging others from doing multi-plant. Not my intention Shrug!

And surely not true. I love your photos. Actually, I do not take good photos and would never have put any on this site but I was so encouraged to try. just to share, because everyone else was. Some of mine have been out of focus, mislabeled and in bad lighting but it was nice to share my joy. I vote you post any photos you want to share with us. I even enjoyed the shoe. lol

Multi-plant isn't a thread. Look for it on the home page. There are two groups of photos there.....Multi-plant and recently posted.........Bonnie, I take my pictures when the direct sun isn't on the subject......morning or evening. I don't know what type of camera you are using but give it time to focus.....If we think something is incorrectly ID'd we will let you know in a friendly manner and perhaps be able to point you in the correct direction. Everyone posting on the iris forum is an asset.

Paul -- your photos are such high quality, and the subject matter varied and beautiful -- everyone of them is welcomed and appreciated. I suspect that maybe *someone* was jealous................ Rolling my eyes.

Paul, remember that's just one person giving you that advice. I don't think it's a majority. Post what you want. Who died and made them boss! Rolling on the floor laughing

I usually do not comment or post that often, but I agree with Gregg. From reading that recent post by Paul, this is exactly why I stay away from the web. I do not need any " as Gregg wrote", nor does anyone else. People can be mean and hurtful. Sorry, some folks have so much negativity in their life and pass it on to others. Critics, critics, critics. Keep those beautiful pictures coming. They are wonderful. Very encouraging. Love that Picture Book iris, now I have another one to add to my list. Happy gardening everyone. Just my opinion.

Late to the party (not unusual): Paul, you show such a range of options in your multiphotos, with a wide variety of different content/forms, that I would think the photographs would encourage folks to post their own. For example, the photographs you post of gorgeous plant groupings at the nurseries shows there is no need to feel limited to your own garden for images. A minority opinion is just that--a minority. A small minority. Very, very smalll...

Sounds like someone just wants to stir up trouble. Trolls...

Back to irises. Here is a shot of Batik from about 30' away. You can still see purple and white.

Lol! Beautiful, aren't they? Those were collected back in 60s by DHs father from our surrounding mountains. They stood sentinel in front of their house until 2008 when MIL passed away. FIL passed away in 1986. That small garden is a memorial to our parents.
