A couple weeks ago I changed the way dates and times are displayed, and not everyone loved the change.

The thread "Times instead of dates" in Site Talk forum

So today I am glad to say that this is now a preference option. To change how the dates are displayed, go to your profile and click on "Change your site preferences." You'll then see at the top under "How times and dates are shown" you can change which way the times are presented to you.

Dave you are just too cool!
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown

Thanks Dave. I prefer the new time passed. Dates and time are a bit misleading when you are faraway in the antipodes with no reference point. Thumbs up

@dave, my Dyslexia thanks you...
While my eyes/brain can easily confuse '5/10/2013' with '5/10/2014', there is a huge difference between 'May 10, 2013' and 'one year ago'.
Thank You! for giving us a choice.

Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing I am laughing at something.
Dave generously gave us the option to choose how things are shown, by actual dates/times or by minutes/dates. While I selected the option best for me (I like things that happened a few minutes ago or yesterday), each time I see the heading 'Schedules Maintenance Tomorrow'
I can see that sometimes having an actual date is a good thing. Rolling on the floor laughing Or as my kids used to say, "Is it tomorrow yet?"
