Are these deformed, curled and rolled leaves and lack of new growth on Major Wheeler honeysuckle (Lonicera sempervirens) a fungal issue or something else?
What is the best way to treat or prevent this?

I'm going to say it's getting either too much water or not enough. Were these cuttings you took? Are they well rooted?

Where are they placed? In a window where the glass magnifies the light & is burning them? Speaking of burning..... how have you been feeding them -- with what?

I have a bunch of Major Wheelers that are all in different locations (indoors, outside in ground, outside in pots, etc.) receiving different amounts of light and water and they are all doing the same thing. They are all small rooted plants. I fed some with Quick Start and some with straight water. My PH and soil is good; all variables are getting the same result. There is no longer any new growth on any of them, and leaves and plants are dying to varying degrees.

What about humidity? You might try enclosing one in a large plastic bag (mini-greenhouse style) for a few days and maybe put a tray of pebbles or perlite inside the bag with water to create a humid environment. It might help the leaves to re-hydrate and get going again. There again, if it is a fungal situation it will make matters worse. But at least it will provide some info.

If it works, I'd gather all the plants in one area and see if you can keep them humidified for a while. Hanging wet towels in a small enclosed room can boost humidity really well for a short time. When you get the windows fogging up, you know you're winning.

Have you tipped one out of its pot to check out the roots? Look at them with a magnifying glass if you can. That might shed some light on the problems, too.

I'm not sure if it is lack of humidity, the leaf deformation (in the first picture) and lack of new growth is more common than the leaf rolling. If I have time, I'll take pictures of in-ground plants tomorrow when it's light out to show the issues more clearly.

I examined the roots, but didn't notice anything amiss.

Thanks, after doing more research I think you might be right. It could be a "honeysuckle leaf blight."

It appears that a copper-based fungicide might be the most effective way to treat this. Does anyone know if I'm correct or if there is a better solution to treat this with?
