I think it will be interesting to see if Delta Dawn keeps it's color all year, like has been stated. Would be great if it did! Their Cherry Cola looks awfully orangy to me. I like the color shown, but it's really much more red, isn't it?

My Cherry Cola has not gotten that much color , but those are promotional pictures and the plants never seem to match them.

Happy you guys like it. There were a few I had not seen too. You are right about the pictures and it sure makes it hard to plan when the pitures are not true.

I've come to accept the fact that most will only get 50% to 75% of the colors advertized . Most of them are greenhouse grown with a professional gardener tending their every need. I hope they do not color enhance the pictures but I'm guessing they do.

Bob - I second that - bet the colors in the photos are retouched.

I think all the nursery sites have better than life pictures, that is what does the selling. I have seen plenty of beautiful pictures of plants and when you look them up to see the pictures real people have posted they are not very pretty, so why is it that the plant only performs well for the nursery? Hummmmmm. If it performs well for everybody then it must be an easy plant, yes I'll take that one.

This is what I did today.

I bought 6 hellebore from Mamajack Southern Belles Strain. Awhile ago
Heucheras Mindnight Rose, Raspberry Ice, Creole Nights, Spellbound, Stormy Seas, Plum Pudding, Rave On, Can Can planted around the hellebores. I'm a bit of a cramer but I hope when it fills in it will look great. This is right were i will see it everyday when pulling in and out of the driveway.
Some of the heucheras are fresh out of the hospital, a few are new.

Thats a Weeping Blue Atlas Cedar - Cedrus atlantica 'Glauca Pendula'. Must be 30 years old.

That should be really pretty as it matures.
