Those are great too. Like the show off blooms. The humming birds love them also.

Sorry to hear that Bob. I hope the roots and crowns are still OK. What the heck does that kind of damage?

No idea what did it . The roots seem ok and there are 2 leaves left , but the remaining crowns are torn up will have to wait and see what happens.

That's pretty strange. I know that squirrels like to tear the leaves and flowers off mine. Apparently my gardens are like a squirrel amusement park. But they've never messed with the crowns.

Sounds like a Rabbit, I had the same problem. He comes around and chews up a Hosta here and there. I have to remember to sprinkle the Millorganite around the beds because they do not like the smell. Are your Hosta ok?

I'm sorry, Bob. Critters are so frustrating.

I'd better spray my repellent.

Yesterday I went out and saw a baby rabbit nibbling on Delta Dawn. Every leaf but 1 shredded. They have been shearing daylily foliage at nose level and now the heux. I ordered a havaheart trap as the rabbits are multiplying by the millions.

I had one chew a leaf of my Banana tree and chewed up my Day-lilies as they were coming up. I threw some millorganite around the yard and that keeps them away. I just have to remember to reapply after a few rains maybe more if its a hard rain. Thumbs up
