Zone envy here! There is a lilac developed for our warm climate, but it isn't pretty and has no scent.

Kathy, the dwarf Maple is beautiful. Your first daylily beat mine by a few days. Here is Saratoga Springtime opening up nicely today after a 43 degree night. Only 48 now. Middendorffii normally beats it, but I divided it this year and it is pouting a little. No scape I can see yet.

My first was the Chris Darrow hybrid and Thursday Pinocchio opened! I see more buds on middendorfii and another species x. I haven't checked my new SS!!
