Joe, none of mine have speckles on them, all smooth coloring. But thank you for the effort!

Wonderful marties Tracey and Moby. The Evans seedling is so pretty.

Starburst is acting happy in it's new location.

Wow, Lady Elaine is just awesome!

So many beautiful pics, it's fantastic.

Thanks for the background info on Green Goddess. I'm fascinated with hybrids in the candidum group, though I don't grow any... yet.

Lot opening now.

Funny, I can see the blue of Blue Flash more in photos than in person. So far not real excited about it.

Here are a couple of my RS but cannot vouch for correctness because they came from MZ Bulb as a free bonus. These are newly opened and appear almost red. I just went out and looked again and the older blooms do fade to a pinkish orange. One big difference though between mine and Joe's is the spotting pattern, lacking on Joe's. The register mentions spots but doesn't mention that it is a bicolor. In my opinion it is a rather lazily written description: http://lr.gerrydanen.com/regis...

On the older blooms the "wrap around" darker color on the lower part of the tepals fades completely away leaving the bloom looking like Heather Canevaro's on the linked photo on the registration page.

I find I like hybridizing with the old and unusual as well. I have an open pollinated 'Accent' seedling that is just about to open. Almost discarded the seed, then I felt sort of sorry for it and tossed it in a bag of soilless mix. Hilarious!
An Ed McRae hybrid, I believe. We shall see what happens Smiling

Happy to have lily season here, no matter how long it takes

Thanks so much. Loving everybody's photos.

I want to know who the father is Rolling on the floor laughing It's going to bloom quite a bit earlier than 'Accent'. The bud is orange sherbet colored.

Joe, I guess Royal Sunset can get pretty darn pink depending on age of blossom, weather and soil conditions, as this first picture shows. Other two pictures are just for reference. The first picture was taken in 2012. That large group is now down to two stems because of voles last winter. The other two pictures are dated 2008.

Lorn maybe it isn't Royal sunset. There is minimal to non spotting on mine and I don't think it's ever been over 2.5 feet. Yours look pretty tall.

Actually now that I think about it Joe's looks much like 'Lady Like', a shorter Asiatic lily.

I don't think this is an usual pattern and there are probably other possibilities. For example McRae's 'Pink Pixie' is one and has many more spots extending into the pink zone.
