Don't laugh folks... a week or so ago I saw my very first in-person real life martagons. There were TWO of them growing in the Sebright Hosta Gardens display garden. One had a label and was "Pink" something or the other and the other was not labeled but similar to L. hansonii. They were quite lovely.

It's supposed to have a scent deterrent so we'll see how well it works. They could have made green caps for the stakes but that wouldn't look nearly as festive.

It is beautiful.

Very nice one Han. My first Compass opened today. The bloom was less than perfect, but just look at all the buds waiting to open soon.
