Happy days---since I have a few early species I've had blooms for a week and now my early seedlings are starting plus some old Saxton's, Spring Purple Buckeye and later Winsome. Some of the H minor is finished already but middendorf and flava are still going. I am going to have to start tagging as I have already lost track of where I dabbed pollen. Put Spring Purple on flava this morning and on some seedlings that for ten years have refused every pollen, they have me beaten, I think, but I keep hoping. Photo of the stubborn wretches----

Stubborn wenches Rolling on the floor laughing I'm relating ... this has been a challenging summer for dabbing, and the puppers have taken a real liking to seed pod treats Thumbs down

Those seedlings are just stunning! Do you know the parentage on them? Will you be registering them? Thumbs up

New to the garden last Spring, and this was its FFO last year. It's an early bloomer.

Thank-you Catherine and Tina. Tina you are very gracious with your acorns. Thank You! I am thinking this may be a rebloom scape on 'Emerald Dream' left over from last year because of its location down in the foliage. Since it was newly planted last Spring, and bloomed in early July, the plant never had a chance to rebloom. This is really early in my garden to see this scape. It appears that this is a leftover rebloom. Nevertheless, it's wonderful to see all those tender buds.

Welcome! Seedyweedy. Looking forward to seeing all your new blooms!
