Really nice ! Malaysia is a pretty iris, but it's somewhat a "iffy" grower here, It bloomed last year...and took this year off! It just doesn't seem to make much increase Shrug! ...Arlyn

Haunted Heart is definitely going on the wish list! Connection is a stunner. Did your Coal Seams produce a lot of blooms? Mine went crazy with them. Love it!

My problem is that I like them all!

Cindy I used up nearly all my stakes this year. Some of the iris just do not produce strong stalks. We have had a lot of rain and wind , which tends to knock mine over. Being located on a hillside doesn't help. I have that bulldozer of a cat who has not learned to walk gently among the iris to deal with too.

Arlyn Malaysia has not been a reliable bloomer for me. This year I had a very high bloom percentage, even among first year plantings. Maybe all the snow last winter helped to insulate them.

Leslie Yes, Coal Seams was amazing. I only planted one rhizome, but it had multiple huge blooms. Currently still blooming. And it did not need to be staked!

Mine didn't need staking either which was great!! AND I got at least 16 blooms off of my one rhizome. Best new bloomer I have ever had.

Thanks for letting me know Pam. I definitely will be buying some plant stakes. No hurry though as I only have 1 iris. Next year will be a different story though. Smiling
