Does May Night Salvia come back every year or does it reseed? or both? and how big does it get?
I am looking for something that is blue/purple and about 12-18 tall and comes back every year without fail without needing a lot of fuss and watering and will take heavy soil. wow a miracle plant Smiling

Frillylilly: We are in the same zone and I have clay soil which I amend. The Maynights I grow do well and are vibrant blue purple.
Mine do not reseed that I have been able to see.

Here it is in the background. Mine are about 18 to 24 inches tall.

A similat perennial I also love is Salvia Caradonna, same height but more purple.
