Goodness, don't know how my pic of the yellow columbine posted sideways. It is right side up when I edited it.

Oh, I think I read about sideways pictures once in the site forums ... I'll go peek and see if I can get the info that helps to right it. Thumbs up

AMERICAN CLASSIC

Absolutely massive bloom. The petals are probably 3-4 inches wide!

@Hemlady, here's one of the threads discussing sideways pictures - Dave can fix them. I think he's still trying to work out all the different media programming that is out there and likely causing distortions...

It was a gift plant for me. Vigorous as heck. It also is a bit more of a soft pink than the picture.

Miss Mimie, I love your pictures of Rose Masterpiece. I got it last year (I think) and am looking forward to seeing it in bloom this year if it will put up a scape.

Tierra Del Fuego reminds me of Mister Lucky. Just looked it up and it is a child of ML and Awesome Bloosom! I can really see the resemblance to ML!

Debra, I think Supreme Tangerine and Dominic should be right next to each other in the garden. I think their colors compliment each other.

"Nicole's Breakfast 2013" wasn't registered yet...do you suppose it will be?

When I asked Nicole about it she said she just forgot to register it so maybe it will be done this year when she registers the 2014 Breakfast plant.

I know the one Petit gave out last year, " Mecca Madness" it's called I believe, was never registered and probably won't be.

Mine do that too and what I do is just right click my photos and rotate clockwise the rotate back counterclockwise and then it loads correctly for some reason. Sometimes all of my photos load sideways and other times only one or two do Shrug!

A lot of software will automatically reorient the pictures for display on your computer. When you upload them to ATP or other places the raw data is typically what's transmitted so they can show up rotated. The initial picture is just a result of which way the sensor in your camera was oriented when you took the picture. In short, it's often a crap shoot. Big Grin

All my blooms were repeats today, so with my mind still tumbling around the meaning of Littorea and Helix (spirals) while I worked in the garden, I decided to just include photo crops of the daylily flowers - as snippets of images that caught my eye - rather than any full "head shots" ...

Michele - I really like the looks of Nicole's Breakfast - color, watermark, shape and edge!

Cindy - I think your small irises may be Siberian rather than Dutch.

Marjorie Kinnebrew bloomed quite nicely yesterday. The cultivar is a 1980 introduction by Vera McFarland, but it's stood the test of time.

Some of the "old" plants are really nice, John.

Marjorie Kinnebrew is a good example.
Love that color!
