I have both of those, Seed. Corryton Pink is one of my favorites because of its height and color. Tuscawilla Tigress I got from my daughter and have yet to see a scape or bloom since it was transplanted. Both are outstanding!

Esculenta: latin for "edible" ... must be one of the original species plants used in Asian cuisine (though not necessarily recommended for consumption following research indicating there may be some fatal toxic events that can occur).

History lesson from a beautiful, pristine flower ... thanks, Hans! Thumbs up

Makes you wonder why China is not all dead then.
The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.

Ummm ... according to some reports, there have been enough deaths there to prompt research. And, other scientists elsewhere, working to understand a toxic-switch mechanism in consumable daylily plant parts, seem to have found something, too ... infrequent enough that, if you had nothing else to eat, yeah, yum. But ... I still prefer to play my russian roulette at the neighborhood grocer's (botulism, MRSA, mad cow, etc). Blinking
