Here is what's bloom in today in my Texas garden!
Thumb of 2014-06-01/lisam0313/c0baad

I am not sure what the blue salvia is nor do I know what the pink flower in the top middle is. The top right is purslane. It is a cutting I took from a friend. The bottom left is weeks rose rhapsody in blue. And the hibiscus was labeled Hibiskiss!!! LOL

Those are beautiful blooms, Lisa! Tell us what they are. I know the blue is a salvia, but which one? I like it!

I do the classifications for my garden club flower and vegetable show. I didn't enter many plants this year because my pots are getting too heavy to transport. On a whim and to be silly, I picked up a ball moss in the front yard, trimmed the dead stuff off and placed it under a glass dome. Entered it and it won a blue ribbon and a green thumb (meaning a merit score of 95 or more points)! I expected the judges to know it wasn't supposed to be judged.

My prize winning Tillandsia recurvata terrarium! Can't stop smiling! Whistling

I am so relieved that the poppies are dry enough to pick the seeds. They are so ugly when all dry. I need to remember not to let any grow in the front of the flower bed

My neighbor picked some poppy seed pods from her synagogue's garden. They came up this spring in masses of about 3 ft tall red flowers. Just gorgeous!

Love those poppies!
Do you have ball moss up there in the north? I ask because the show judges were from Arlington and Dallas! Rolling my eyes.

Pretty flowers are blooming! Up here in northeast Texas it was late heating up so the flowers are behind their usual schedule. I am not complaining one bit though!! Smiling
