Sorry Lucy, but you just won't change my mind. Don't like black flowers. Thumbs down Each to our own. I don't suppose I would ever change your mind either. Shrug! That's what makes us gardeners so interesting. Variety is the spice of life.

I would love to see photos of your fuchsias! Thumbs up

Black is my favorite color, but I love all flowers. The only ones I don't like are the ones that die. Sticking tongue out

Hello Rob.

If you go on the fuchsia forum, their all on there, but here's a couple to whet your appetite. I tip my hat to you.
"Florrie's Gem"

"Jades Gem"

"London in Bloom"

Sorry to take up space with fuchsias on a Iris forum. Hope you will forgive me.

Neal - got Black Lightening from Iris Sisters last year. Biggest rhizome with a bunch of increases I have gotten for a dwarf! It looks like a little monster right now. Sure hopes that means a whole bunch of blooms!

yes, the beards are blue. It does get a bit tall, something you might consider when placing it in a bed.

It has a very nice place of honor in my new garden. If was so big when they sent it that I wanted to give it room to spread. I love love love the beards and was so happy to find a place carrying it that wasn't sold out. My Sisters order last year was initiated by wanting to order Black Lightning.

So nice to look at your messages. Cheers me up a bit. My garden looks like a swamp at the moment. Sighing! We have had nothing but rain for weeks. I am not as bad off over here on the east coast as the people up north with their floods. I am really looking forward to a bit of cold weather. I've been looking over my garden and have found room for a couple of irises, so it now to decide which ones. Still will not be black. Like that light blue one. Off topic. Have released another couple of fuchsias this year. See one of them below.
