Bev thanks for the memory jog. I may rely on you more often.
Lynn, It is in full sun at least half of the day. The morning light that gives the back of the leaves that peachy color just turned me on, especially when the background was the dark green of the Japanese Maple.
I tried to paint this plant last Sept. didnt get very far. Now it haunts me again and I am working on a good composition that is horizontal. I want to include those hairy stems in some way, just to suggest them, so funny.
It is a great plant. The colors are so pretty and it roots so easy. I have it growing in all my combo pots because when a leave falls off I throw the leaf in another pot and up pops a new Fred.

I've never heard of rollers. They're cute.
This is my pineapple plant which is in a big nondescript plastic pot. The cool thing is that it is starting to bloom. I didn't know if it would bloom here since it is more like desert than like Hawaii.
Boy all the pics look great. Ric and I have been traveling but we are home now.

Hello hello my friends! I apologise for my absence. I've not been well and I've also started a bigger aquarium so I've been geeking out on aquarium plants and moss! ha ha
Today I spent all afternoon adding my old fishtank gravel on top of all my outdoor Semps. Didn't rinse it because I wanted the fresh water I pour on top to seep through and carry the nutrients down to the roots
Old aquarium water has really made my indoor plants really happy so I've decided to use it in the outside plants too little experiment for me! Not that I'll be watering the plants for much longer as autumn is upon us and Essex, UK, loves to rain the end of autumn! Hopefully it will hold out until end of October again before the frosts start!
And as always, here are photographs of my Semps and succulents currently :)

Kadie! It makes it easy for me because I don't have time to take care of my orchids all the time. I think the plumerias are helping them with nutrients and water when I can't feed/water them.
Pia, my favorite photo from your above post is the staircase. I love how you brought interest and beauty to it.
The semps, sedum and other succulents are looking good.
Gigi, that is beautiful. How did you attach the orchids to the plumeria? What a lovely picture the combo makes.
