LOL, 3 kids in college will do that for you.
I'm trying to get one of my BFFs from NC to come to Cubits. She has a hoop house and does a great job.
I'd start seeds this month in my house.
One thing my friend does is keep a tub of water in there so it is the same temperature as the soil and plants.
I will have a hoop house here within the next 18 months.
Then you can give me lessons.

HI Sue! I'm thrilled to see your pretty face!!! How are you anyway? And I love your avatar, it so speaks of the Sue we all know and love.

Oh shirley, I'm on my way over to your new cubit. Not that I can contribute much as I'm not an artist at all. But I love to watch, listen and maybe learn something new.

Shine, those are some big horns. I'd hate for that thing to be after me. I bet I could run faster than I ever knew I could.

I had such wonderful plans for today. A few days ago I decided that I was going to start making myself get out and about and 'do something' everyday. This morning I decided that I would go clothes shopping as I look like a mess anymore. So I got around, did a bit of work and jumped out of the shower to hear the phone ringing. It was my aunt. Man, that woman can talk & talk & talk! So, here I sit and still haven't left the house. Grumbling

But I'm going in a bit. Actually, I'm going to check out shirley's cubit and then I'm out the door!

Have a beautiful day everyone...

Oh Juanita, that is just the cutest thing. Did you make that? How on earth did you make it? It's just precious.

You know what guys? The weatherman keeps talking more winter storms and more snow. They keep using the word 'significant'! Sheesh, I bet that means MANY INCHES! I am so ready for springtime and just to see the sun shine around here. We still have so much snow on the ground and it's just downright cold out there. Enough already...

Well, I spent my afternoon shopping. Didn't do much as far as buying but had a nice afternoon looking around and just getting out of the house felt good. I got a couple of new shirts that I am in dire need of. Then, just as I was leaving Chase called me. He asked where I was and I told him and he says... Oh stay there, Xander & I are on the way. LOL Anyway, Xander went home with way more clothes than I did. Hurray!

I just had an idy.
Along about the end of March I mosey up to Charlotte and pick up several trays of rooted plugs from NC Farms and divy them up and mail them to those that want to participate.
They would be really easy to wrap and box because they will be plugs are small, no loose dirt.
Their plugs are $35.50 for a 105 plug flat.
I can see my DS up there and take some plugs to Betty.
That would sure cut the delivery time and I could probably get DS to help.
Has any one invited Good ole Bake?
I invited Dale

LOL Shine, she does talk too much doesn't she?

Shine, what's the word on NCFarms as far as what you're going after? I'm putting a colues cuttings co-op together and I don't want to overlap on what you're getting. When you decide call me or email the info to me. BTW, you still have me down as participating in your co-op, right?

Is everyone ready for the big game? I know shirley is. And now I am in dire need of help. As far as I knew the only company we were going to have was Chase, Kendall & Xman and now Allan informs me that we'll have a few people from his work. Sheesh, I have to do some serious cooking/preparing some appetizers or something. Anyone have any good and fast ideas?

At least I was smart enough to clean house yesterday and don't have that staring me in the face.

How's the Who Dat party coming along Shirley?

Well, Betty and I are growing out some coleus to sell up in NC.
I believe I need to bring the plugs to Fl around the 1st of April.
I'll pot them up and water and pinch them.
Then take them back to NC the second week of May.
Just thought I'd offer to others so we can get more varieties.
I still want to be in your co-op too.
I don't think one co-op will over shadow the other.
This way 2 desires get fed.
One is instant gratification and then the really inexpensive patient way.
As you know I am not one to let participants get beyond what I can handle.
Shine I tip my hat to you.
