DH checked the properties of the computer and it is in 1920 x 1080 resolution, which is recommended for this monitor

Dave

Here are the other pics I took earlier.

The last one is the one I zoomed/cropped after I took the previous one and the first two of this batch.

Marilyn, the "Add a plant" button is in the lower righthand corner of the box. You've zoomed in so far that you've lost that corner. Try zooming out.

Zuzu

When I'm on the computer, it isn't there anymore. Sad

In my post directly above, the first pic is a regular full shot showing the whole computer.

Hold the control key down while you tap the minus sign, that will probably let you see the add button, I think Dave and zuzu are right in that you are zoomed way in trying to see the small screen.

I agree Ctrl and 0 will zoom to your default and "may" work as well.

Increasing the screen size might actually be a better long term option, if you are having trouble "seeing" the things on the screen.

I'm not zoomed in while I'm on the computer. Confused

That's what I did and it worked! Hurray! Thank You! Thumbs up

It made all the words, letters and frame a lot smaller. Problem is, my older eyes can't read the small words as well.

Have to go back and read words and letter at a larger size. I'll have to remember the Ctr and 0 when I want to add a plant.

Edited to say: CROSS-POSTED! Congratulations. I know what you mean by "old eyes"! My old monitor at work died, and they "had to" give me one that was much wider. It helps.

P.S.
I don't know if this helps at all within websites, but for Windows text, I always use "large fonts", and sometimes customize them further to have bigger-than standard font size (like 11, 12 or 14 point type).
Right-click Desktop | Properties | Appearance | Font Size | Extra Large
and also Advanced | (then Message Box, Active Title Bar, Inactive title bar and Item | Icon) and increase the font size.

====
The old cross-post is now moot, unless someone wants details about deleting Cookies in FireFox ....

Could the number of categories be having an unexpected effect? If there are 6 categories just for "V" and "Z", Maybe Marilyn has more categories than have ever been tested.

Could you try Zooming OUT just to see what effect that has? As Seedfork says, try "CTRL -" a few times.

I assume you've also tried traditional things like refresh (F5)
and deleting cookies
Tools | Options | Pull-down History to show "Firefox will ... use custom settings for History" | Show Cookies

Then Highlight allthingsplants.com and click "Remove Cookies" ...

... but first make sure you remember your ATP password!

Never mind, Rick. Marilyn already zoomed out and corrected the problem. Smiling
