Like we've done in the past, it's not really a co op, it's just an order split.
Everyone pays
18.00 for the cuttings,
7.59 for shipping from NC farms to me
10.95 for shipping from me to you.
1.40 paypal fees

37.94

I waffled with the small flat rate shipping box, 8x5x1.5, but I don't want them to be scrunched in the box.

I've requested a ship date of 4/4.

If anyone would prefer to have overnight shipping, let me know before you pay, and we'll figure it out.

These are the varieties we're getting, click on the name to go to the NC farms page with picture

Sangria
Black Star
Defiance
Kingwood Karnival
Mardi Gras

Perilla Tricolor

I got your paypal ronnie. Since you're so close, I think I'm going to order some regular mail boxes from USPS, and probably save you a few bucks in shipping. I'll refund when I know what the actual postage cost is. :)

One spot left guys!

Fantastic! I'm so excited! Year before last we had that ice storm that knocked our power out for 8 days and my plant room got too cold for the Coleus- lost every one of them. They were the only casualties, but it was a lot of Coleus! I hadn't bothered acquiring any more, but I really missed them.

I talked to NC Farms today. They aren't shipping until tomorrow for some reason, so the cuttings won't be here until Thursday. Right now, as long as they're delivered by 1:30 or so, I'm going to have my son bring them to me, and I'll sort them at work, and hopefully get them to the PO by 4, so they'll go out to you the same day I get them, and hopefully get to you by Saturday.

If they don't get here until after it's too late for me to sort and get to the post office until Friday, does anyone want me to either 1. Overnight them (probably 10.00 more in postage) or 2. wait until Saturday to mail so they'll be moving, and not sitting on Sunday?

I would choose the overnight option... and if it is not too much add a damp paper towel in the baggies... always seems to help when I get the big orders and it takes me a few days to get them planted... would rather send you a few extra bucks to get them alive

If you want me to add damp paper towel, I will if I can, but, I'm afraid the cuttings being wet would cause more harm than good, and if you are getting them overnight, I don't think it will be an issue. My main goal will be to get them sorted so they can be at the post office by 4 so I know they go out on the 4:30 truck--I will have about 90 minutes to do this.

I'm at work right now, so can't write much. I will check the price of overnight from here to there.

I'm not in on this deal, so excuse me for butting in. I was in on the cutting coop last year. The cuttings were mailed out again the day the coop leader got them, and I received them in great shape 2 days later. We had some sort of happening here that kept me from taking them out of the baggies for several days, and ALL of them were just fine. Some were real wilted, but they perked up just fine once I had them in potting soil. I didn't mist them or anything. I really don't think you have to worry about length of time in transit. Lovey dubby

The cuttings arrived about 5 minutes ago. They will go out in the morning unless anyone wants me to wait until Saturday.
