Wouldn't mind visiting but Texas is home. Nederland was actually founded by Dutch immigrants.

Patience? The site's been official for three days already! The whole world should know about this place by now. Thumbs up

I posted to Facebook and my nursery page. Next week I'll add links on my websites and do a blog post. Not that I'm enthusiastic about ATP or anything. Whistling Gardeners are first rate enablers. Just wait until the next time I meet with the Master Gardeners. Hilarious!

Years ago my mother used to say to me, she'd say, "In this world, Elwood, you must be" - she always called me Elwood - "In this world, Elwood, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant." Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. You may quote me.

Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing but I'm a patient sort - I'll wait until weeds get large enough to pull before attempting, and I'll put seeds in a garden and wait for them to bloom. This will be a beautiful site, and I'm proud to be one of the "early-on" members!

I suppose my life would be calmer if I had more patience. My philosophy is time is for filling, life is for living, land is for tilling, love is for giving. There is no waiting, only an opportunity to do more. There is work enough to do.

If I want a better community I better start building it. If I want more members, I better go find some. If the seeds haven't come up yet, I sow some more, or mix some soil, or prepare the beds, or build some cold frames, or set up the watering or... There is always further to go, more to improve. And if I have all that I need, I get the greatest opportunity of all, to give it away.

But I always wait until the weeds get bigger, too. I've got better things to do until then. Hilarious!

Hurray! I like that we don't have to broadcast our zip code out there, thanks Dave!

But like Paul, there are no other members anywhere near me. It made me feel isolated Sad I'll have to get word out to my local Master Gardener friend, and the nurseries up here so I wont feel so lonesome Smiling

Might I also suggest- if you can think of friend from cubits ( or other websites), and you haven't seen him/ her here, it might be a good idea to let them know about ATP. I found someone that way today. She didn't know about ATP.

Gym girl was going to be on my list, but she found her own way.

It would probably be deleted. If I were going to tell someone on DG, I would send them a D Mail. Don't say anything about the site or Dave, just say "I would like to talk to you about something
e-mail me". Then give them you e-mail. You can say whatever you want then.
