How does Oakes get to sell this using a registered name?

Why do you think this is not Lady Lucille? I bought one from Oakes with this name. Is it because it says something like All American Selection? The one I have is beautiful and a strong grower.

Rain both Sunday night and last night made for a squishy dead head of the garden this morning Thumbs down With the garden all clean again and the sun shining it was perfect for getting images, but I haven't got them sorted yet.... so here's a few more from the past few days....

Isinglass Mountain, tall with soft pink bloom.

Gabriel's Weathervane, pretty cream trumpets with good branching and budcount.

Pink Promenade, registered evergreen does well in Z4, Eddy Scott was among the earlier hybridizers working with sculpted forms. Pink Promenade always makes me wonder what fabulous sculpts Eddy might be introducing now if the nursery hadn't closed.

Planet Claire, nocturnal, big, yellow with a substance like heavy plastic. A favorite!

and new this year thanks to the many who showed fabulous images of it last year.....
Willow Dean Smith, I think this is my favorite of the new daylilies this year, simply gorgeous!

Sorted out a fun one to share Slipped my Disco as a 5 X 5 poly! A bit scarred from the horrible storms yesterday/last night, but I thought you might enjoy seeing it anyhow. Smiling

Willow Dean Smith is very pretty indeed. Slipped My Disco looks almost like a dahlia! I love it. Could it be a fused bloom?

Hazeleyes, you've got a few polys yourself. The pink and red ones are polys! The red one looks like a pinwheel with the petals going all different directions like that Smiling

It is what Oakes calls Lady Lucille , But as Tracey said, Warrell registered Lady Lucille in 2012 , making the registered LL "official".

Picked buddy's Khloe out of the pouring rain.
It has two reblooming scapes it has been blooming for a while.
The photo makes it look more red and it's more purple.

MESMERIZER (Maryott, 2014) - My camera always seems to lighten the reds -- the actual flower is darker. But not a bad FFOE, considering the bud developed in the shade in 100+ temps, plus I just received the bareroot plant earlier this month!

PRISCILLA'S SMILE - Poor Priscilla -- In my excitement at seeing the bloom and my haste to get the plant out to my lawn to take pictures, I dropped her on my concrete porch. If you look closely you can see the damage to the petals. I love PRISCILLA'S SMILE, and I still think it's my best greenish edged daylily.

Cindy,
I don't have a dragon themed garden. I am moving a bed and making one long bed along the driveway. When I start working on this I would like my rows to be by breeder. I have a lot of Shooters, Gossards,Henry ( Siloams) etc. so that is my goal to have specific rows of the garden for each Hybridizer.
