Gigi what do you do with all these desert roses you prop? You should get a gig at a local farmers market and sell them!

Aw Lucy those are healthy looking than mine. My baby seedlings are not happy with my full sun backyard!

@Gina1960 I don't know what I am going to do with them yet. I was hoping they bloom before our next back to the office meeting, and give them to my co workers as gifts. Hilarious!

That happens to me more than once: I'll give someone a cutting, seed, or another plant of one one that I have that they like..... and they grow it better than me. nodding

Lucy, how old are those seedling cuties?

I'm just glad they are germinating as I am just learning to hand pollinate these desert roses. I will be donating more seeds through Victory Seed Company soon, I am just waiting for more seedpods to ripen, so I can ship them all at once to Dave.

I'm still working full time so hybridizing my desert roses is just a hobby for me and I learned I have a talent through NGA so just my way of giving back. I can't grow all the seeds that my desert roses produce. So anyone interested can sign up at Victory Seeds. Dave and his crew made my desert roses seed packets :
with instructions on how to grow them. I tip my hat to you. They also do the sorting of the seeds, packing and mailing. Happy he accommodated my request to be able to share these beauties. He said it is quite popular and he has a waitlist but NGA members in the Adenium forums get notified first.

Just have to keep them away from pets and kids as all parts are toxic.

I believe Gigi said she pollinated the set I got for fat bottoms. If these are any indication, she did a good job. I'm especially taken by the 3 with little branches everywhere. One is quite small but Gigi mentioned dwarfs?

Of 15 seeds, 13 germinated. I killed one so 12 left. The instructions on the packet were good. I started mine in little 2" pots so I didn't have to transplant them as iddy biddies. Did the H2O2 soak overnight, used Black Gold seed/cuttings mix (per Dr. Dawg). Used a heat mat, no humidity dome and a fungicide. They germinated in 4 - 9 days.

Here they are at 1 week:
