I created a folder on my desktop and titled it 'iris dreams' and when he posts one I cant live without I put a copy of that photo in that folder. Next year when I am ordering I will have the pictures at my fingertips. He is a super enabler!!! And Jan, Multonomah is on my list and his photo is the background on my computer. It is just lovely! Debra, which one was it?

Thanks Leslie, I'll keep that in mind. If there is anything on my plant list anybody is interested in...give me a holler and I'll let you know if I have enough to share. Probably won't be till next year, if you're not in a hurry.

I have a lot of this NOID that I'll be splitting up next year. It has a huge flowers and a thich stalk, but it still has a tendancy to flop over a bit on windy days.

Brad's pictures are hard to beat, I have many that I would not have bought based on pictures from the vendor, but then he posts those unbelievably beautiful pictures, and I'm adding to my orders. This year I had to add Embematic, and Cross my Heart to my orders after he came back from his trip to the coast. *Blush*

Well said Mary Ann! Stealth enabling indeed. nodding

Love the idea of saving a picture file as a wish list. Easier to visualize than try to remember the features from the name.

Yes, Leslie, and when you go to trim down your lists come spring and you open the file you will say, "no that one stays and that one and that one," etc. Sure helps keep your lists neat.

Good taste Debra!

Does anyone know where I can buy the SDB Bonny Blue? I think it is an 1981 Hite. I have asked before where I can find a particular iris and usually someone knows who has it for sale. I will be getting some lovelies in August after I asked on this site and people 'found' the vendor for me. If anyone can find a vendor for Bonny Blue I would sure appreciate it. smiles

Oh yes Bonnie, I am sure one of these helpful enablers will be able to, probably even give you a choice of vendors! I speak from experience!! Hilarious!

Besides Brad, I do have to say that Arlene (pirl) is a great enabler for me. I just love all of her Japanese Iris shots. I have a strong feeling another JA bed will be dug for next year!

This might have been the photo, Bonnie. Lovey dubby But after having been generously gifted with so many gorgeous Iris this year, I am making a true effort to restrain my greed. It's tough, but I am almost winning. Big Grin

Just look at those waver, er, ruffles!!! Gorgeous. If you get that one you will also have to have Birthday Girl. She is listed as pink but is more of a peach and does she ever have ruffles. Mine bloomed for the first time this year and it was beautiful promising to be more so after the first year of settling in. I know about the greedy feelings Debra. It is like a hungry kid looking thru a bakery window.

Beautiful NoID Ken! Thumbs up I'll be able to list some things to share next season too.

I have a tendency to flop over when the weather hits over 100.

"Ride the Waves" and "Birthday Girl" have been added to the list....thanks a lot Deb and Bonnie. Glare

OK, I have a technical question. How do you get pictures from the data base imported to the message box? I've tried copying and pasting, but that doesn't work. Thanks, now go back to iris talk. Smiling

Bonnie, I don't normally care for lots of ruffles. Something about that one photograph of that one bloom glazed over my brain and...must...have...that...Iris... Drooling Blinking Drooling

If you click on any picture in the database, you'll see several rows of information (Plant,
Contributor , Gallery, etc.) just above the enlarged picture. The last row is called ATP BB Code followed by something like this: [db_photo]11521[db_photo]. Just copy and paste everything after "ATP BB Code: " and it you'll have the picture in your message:
