Okay, well, I'm guessing no news is good news.
I made myself get some things done outside today, and didn't take pictures of any of it! I finished the rock border around my new little bed, and planted out the remainder of that flat of pansies. And that was enough!
But then I remembered, I did take one picture, before I got into all that, of a late gardenia blossom. We haven't had many this year even though there are two huge plants. I read an article saying that the whole region had fewer blooms on perennials, in general, due to dry conditions. Huh.
Anyway, somehow while I was poking at the camera, I managed to change the settings from the email-easy small file pictures, to the nice big ones everyone here likes!
For this, I was also trying to capture a lovely spider web that was in front of the blossom, but I am not that skilled. You can see, to the left of the flower, a line of out of focus dots. That's the spider in the middle and features of the web above and below.
