Hi, Neil & Charleen--- Hope your weekend is going good!
Neil, is Sarah getting better and stronger? Hope so... I like that pink Peony you posted--- for some reason, it reminds me of one of those old-fashioned roses that has So many petals; I love them. The red Rose is a beauty also; is it from your garden? We only have 2 rose bushes now; our backyard is getting less & less Sun than it used to, because our Live Oak tree is growing larger, and we also have our neighbor's tree limbs overhanging our property, shading part of my back garden area. I need some sunny space for the Plumerias, as most are back there, away from the dogs.
Charleen, I was looking at Charley in his hat, and thinking, Wow, he'd look really awesome in a sombrero! (those big Mexican hats with the wide brims)--- we used to live 7 miles from the Mexican border, and saw them alot; they had some really fancy ones down there in the Marketplace, and Charley would look 'muy bonita' in one! (very pretty)!!

Dear Connie, Sarah is driving me mad doing things the Doctor told her she must not do!
I thought a Bonita was a Mexican food dish! Silly me!

Neil, I'm glad you're writing about your local Pub? I only know what English Pubs look like from maybe a tv show, Ha! John told me awhile back that if we ever go to England, he wants you to take him to some local pubs!

Neil, you thought 'bonita' was food? Hey, I had 2 years of Spanish in High School, then 1 year of French in college; and don't know much of either one now because I don't use them much... well, living down here, I Do know some Tex-Mex, which is what some people around here speak. On Friday, I was trying to tell this Spanish woman at a friend's house that we came to pick up a bicycle, and it took 3 of us gringos (anglos) to explain it to her in broken Spanish/English, and Lots of gestures, (like a kid pretending to ride a bike!)--- frustrating then, but funny now that I think of it!
You would think I would know Spanish real well by now, considering they now put Both languages on many cereal boxes and other food items down here; I think it's ridiculous myself---but I won't get off on that tangent tonight, Ha!

Dear Connie, why confuse me even more? Cherie says she can't shoot Darts or Pool and I cannot understand as I shoot things with a gun! You live in the U.S.A. so why do they have to put things in Mexican? I live in Britain and I speak British. If my food does not come from 20 miles where I live, I don't want it!
I wonder if John plays Golf, for Cherie's Husband does and in the Article I am writing there is a bar devoted to men who like to play with their balls!
So to stop them blistering their hands after playing with their balls all day, here is the answer!

Still not warn enough for the little buzzy friends to come into the gardens, but once the warm weather is with us to stay for a while then they are welcome to come to my garden, plenty of tectar for them.
The Bottle brush plant down the road is about five feet if not a little more, and looks smashing when in full bloom.
