You got a little bug on the clematis too, but I love the color of it(the flower, not the bug). All flowers are beautiful.

From the corner: I like your 2 photos Neil, one regular size... and then magnified--- very nice!... Is a Pippin an apple?--- it doesn't look orange, tho'...but it does look Crunchy.
Charleen, I think Charley's Eye is very kind-looking; I know what you mean, because I used to have horses, and their eyes tell alot: if they're happy, sleepy, or scared; their Ears have meaning also, as you know--- your mule & donkey's Ears are easy to tell what they are thinking, because their ears are soooo long!! Hilarious!

They DO send up signals. When they go down, be very watchful, that is when they are telling each other "get out of my space"

Dear Connie, you are not in any corner! A pippin is an apple but this is a young one as it is magnified. They do have a slight orange on the top when ripe in the Autumn. They are magnificent for eating straight out of the tree, so don't let Charley near mine!
Regards.
Neil.

Charleen, I used to have a white mare, that when she put down her ears flat, she would run under a low-growing tree limb and try to knock me off that way! (She never did it, but tried...)

I believe it, Connie. Neil He has had his afternoon tea. (Meal) so he should be fine til tomarrow morning. So your wonderful little apples are safe. He really did eat My Santa Rosa plum Tree til it died. Had such wonderful Plums too. We got another tree and planted it so he won't touch it.
