I just separated the seed from the parachutes of 50+ seed from my Adenium 'Red Taiwan'. The seed are fresh, the pods were just starting to split on 8/24/14, and so were harvested. (There were ~75 seed, but a number of them were flat/empty, apparently non-viable. I will only send solid seed.) Here is the mother plant:

The flowers run about 4" across, rich velvety red with a yellow throat.

Here is a photo to compare with a red/white Adenium with more typically sized flowers:

I would like to make trades for seeds from A. obesum different in color from what I already have.

Besides the 'Red Taiwan', I have the Red/White picotee pictured above and here, and a Pink/White picotee:

OK, umm, question, did you do the pollinating? Or was the pod a surprise?

I didn't pollinate, the pods were a pleasant surprise. First time in over eight years it has set seed.

Both the Red Taiwan and the red picotee were in bloom at the same time so there is the possibility of a cross. The pink picotee was not in bloom. The red picotee did not set seed this time.

I'd like to purposely make the cross between these two one of these days, Need to figure out the mechanics of Adenium pollination!

Ron, look at all the "Adenium pollinating" videos on youtube. You MUST have magnifying eyeglasses, the grocery store kind will do, as strong as they make, plus a magnifying glass. Took me a while to find the pollen!

I have only watched a couple videos, but have still photos and text instructions from a few sites. Some good info out there! All I need now is time and weather cooperation!

That, and having the Adeniums in bloom. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing
