I was away from home this week. I returned to discover fuzzy caterpillars on my Salvia uliginosa plant. I snipped off the infested leaves and tossed them over the deck railing.

Is the rest of the plant ok? I wonder what kind fuzzy caterpillars they were.

Since you just tossed them over the deck railing, aren't you worried that they'll craw back onto the plant or something else?

No worries at all. I didn't feel like killing today.

The plant is making multiple flowering stems. The hummingbird loves it.
