I just love Cool Runnings. Kwanso is a weed here for me. I can pull a piece out and toss it into the woods, and the next year it's blooming right where it landed!!

Glen, I believe I read somewhere that Skinwalker has evergreen in its genetics so that would make sense that it doesn't act like a dormant.

Cindy, I was worried about Skinwalker but so far it has not died back or anything.

Karen, Ann and Vickie, it seems that several gardens have Kwanzo on the island. A friend just sent me a photo of one about 500 yards from here. I dug this one out of lawn of an unoccupied residence two "doors" down, which is regularly mowed and didn't know what it was until it first bloomed. I will have to move it. I just spotted a 4th shoot out from the clump today.

Just Celebrate is a big bloom, Mike. It pokes a tongue sometimes. I read somewhere this is regarded as a fault by judges. You would think all different shapes would be welcomed, though. It has lots of proliferations and it is a shame I cannot send you some.

The first time I bought Skinwalker in my zone, it did not make it through the winter. I was determined that I wanted it, so I purchased it again and heavily mulched it. Now that it is in a clump, it is fine and has made it through our winters.

Mine is looking okay still. Some blooms to go. But the island is oh so dry at the moment. It was one of a collection of Stouts I decided to have.

Great looking blooms Glen. Hope to be able to pay you back with some in the spring. If I dont get out there and do some of my own watering, blooming will be slim. Going to give them a light feeding as well.

Operation after lunch tomorrow but I should get in the Friday photos. I will only be in hospital overnight and back on Saturday. It is nothing serious.

This looks like the last bloom for the season for SPACECOAST COLOR SCHEME. I think it will be a fine display when it gets a few more fans.

Unregistered Crikey, King Kahuna is amazing. Dragon King is appropriately named. Desperado Love certainly makes a statement.

It absolutely glows, Glen. Back in our car racing days they used to call that color "competition orange". Besides the stunning color, it's a really nice shape and texture, too.

Easy to overlook the single colored ones with all the fabulous frills, edges, watermarks and other features you've been showing us.

I do love Planet Max doing it's Tarzan act there, too. It's a beauty. Bet those are big flowers too?

Love all the flowers, Glen. It seems funny to look at them when mine are buried under the snow, but there is hope as we might hit the 50's next week. This weather is so weird.
I have Mad Max which blooms forever and is one of my favorite spiders.

Competition orange, I like that Elaine. Yes, Planet Max just lays on the 3.5' scapes with lots of 7" big blooms.
I meant to make some new clumps over winter but forgot. I like the look of Mad Max, Karen.
