I have some perspective on that this year..

Home home home is where you want to be. One thing all hospitals and 'operations' have in common is needles. That's why home is whats happening.

Boy do I miss those 'french fry/heat lamps' to come on at 4am. " Time for a bath"

LOL no, when I was in ICU, they used to come in at 4 ( it might be the middle of their day, but I didnt really like it) for a 'bath'. At least they brought really hot water and good smelling soap...and those french fry lights were warm...Ill give them that.

If know its night there, I just dont know if its the night he came home, or the night he is staying.

Sounds like he should be back in action quick. I sure hope so.

I was a little lucky this last surgery to have requested some wonderful meds. One of the parts I dread the most, is when they hand you the gown, things become SO real. They worked like a champ, I dont remember anything after parking. I hope they have something like that for him.

I also had a bit of a hero here on ATP, I wont 'out' them. But they experienced the 'ultimate' in heart operations. Kept me focused. Thanks you, I know all of the wishes for Glen will be welcome by him. And the sooner he gets better, the sooner our world get more colorful
